Yacht on the Red Sea

This photo was taken in Eilat in the Negev, Southern Israel, I was standing on the beach. The Edom Mountains are in the background.

Eilat is a cool place, lots to do, lovely beaches and friendly people. Being a Brit and living on an island, I found it very strange that standing on the beach, you could see Egypt, Jordan and Saudi. 4 countries within a 12 mile radius! Just across the water from Eilat, you can see an enormous Jordanian flag, the tallest in the world at 132 metres.

If you were wondering, I am posting these old photos of Israel because my camera is being fixed so I can't take new ones at the moment. Hopefully it will be back soon!
